The Petsafe deluxe outdoor cat fencing was
designed to let your cat be himself in the safety of your yard. If your cat crosses the established barrier, a correction will be sent to get your cat's attention, but will not harm him. It provides safe and reliable containment for your cat with tone-only plus 4 levels of stimulation that take her temperament into account. The collar has a special stretch section for your cat's safety, and a battery-life indicator to assure you that the collar is working.

The transmitter plugs into a standard power outlet and emits a radio signal that travels along an underground wire.

The waterproof & lightweight receiver collar on your cat picks up the radio signal and alerts him with a warning tone as he nears the outdoor enclosure. If he continues towards the enclosure he will receive a mild stimulation similar to a static pulse.

The boundary wire is buried underground approximately 1-2 inches deep or you can attach it to your existing fencing using cable ties or other fasteners. The boundary wire can be installed to suit almost any situation.
